Cooking with Aristos Cookbook

Aristos Papandroulakis (born 1965 in Bunbury, Western Australia) is an Australian chef best known for hosting the Seven Network cooking show Surprise Chef. He also hosted BYO Chef, for Seven.
His unique show, Surprise Chef on Chanel 7, became a Sunday night ratings winner with over 1 million regular viewers. His trademark ambushing of unwary supermarket shoppers, his outrageous personality and his ability to conjure up simple yet tasty dishes from the contents of any supermarket trolly, won him thousands of fans both young and old. Now there is a book, Cooking With Aristos, which will allow his loyal viewers to relax and have fun as they follow his simple and tasty recipies for everything from Dad's Greek Potato Salad, "The Boys" Tomato and Onion Soup and the world-famous, Aristos Chilli Prawns . Conveniently split into Entrees, Vegetables, Mains, Desserts, Salads and Sauces and with clear colour photographs, Cooking With Aristos is the ideal cookbook for people who want simple, honest food, made from ingredients that can be found in any pantry. The recipes are interspersed with family photographs and memories spanning the sixty years that the Papandroulakis family have run their unique blend of restaurants. "Aristos is a motor-mouuth of good advice, instructive and heaps of fun" Sydney Morning Herald."People mistake good food as being what's trendy at the moment. If you can cook a meal that your mum made well, people will love it." Aristos"He's larger than life, he cooks down-to earth food and he's the sort of guy you'd like to have a beer with at the pub." Brad Lyons, Head, Channel 7 Infotainment Programmes.

Papandroulakis has also authored two cookbooks, "Cooking with Aristos" and "Cooking with the Surprise Chef", as well as owns a fish and chip restaurant in his hometown called Aristos', which he established in 1992.[1] He has also established a seafood restaurant and takeaway on Rottnest Island WA in May 2009.

Paps is his more common name to friends and family. He operates a seafood processing business as well as his restaurant business.
